My First Artist Trading Card (ATC)

I've wanted to try my hand at making an ATC for some time.  I decided to go with vintage, so I used a vintage image of a pretty child.

I added 3 hand-cut butterflies coated with glossy accents, and 2 tiny flowers.   The little girl was wearing a necklace with stones, so I added 3 tiny rhinestones where they actually were on the photo.  For the background,  I stamped  and embossed using a script stamp, then used two different distress inks to give a dual tone.

This actually was fun (which is what crafting should be).

I was inspired by the ATC's on blogs including Laura's.  She's at http://artfullymusing.blogspot.com/.  Her ATC's are absolutely gorgeous and should be at home in a Museum of art!

WEll, for your first try, it turned out great! I'd give it a try, but...it will take me a whole day to figure out what pieces to use. I start, then get distracted on what and which to choose! Then I'm dead in the water. Yours is wonderful!

thanks for the inspiration, Angie.
