I found a way to add comments to the Blogs I'm following, but now my "Followers" list has disappeared! I'm hoping it's just a temporary fluke.
To post a comment, I write the comment, and when the "sign in" window appears I put the info in, but Uncheck the "Stay Signed In" box. Don't know why it works. The mysteries surround the world of Blogger are beyond me.

Well I shall have to try that one Angie!! Blogger is certainly being a pain in the proverbial at the mo. I've lost my followers too, but last time they re-appeared eventually.
