I've been watching the news, and saying many prayers for all who live in the path of Hurricane Irene. Those of us who live on the Gulf Coast are familiar with the destruction and loss of life that a powerful Hurricane can cause. Please, if you live in the path of this Hurricane.....Please evacuate! Protect your life and the lives of your loved ones. Don't tell yourself that you're staying home to protect your property. Once this things hits, you have nothing to protect but your life.
I hope you don't mind the tone of my post. The thousands of us who were in the path of Hurricane Katrina know what you are now facing.

oh angie..thank you so much for your sincerest words of concern. we r moving our son back to school a day early because of the pending storm but my heart is heavy with worry that he will be in the dorms when it hits. hubby and i will return to prepare our home for whatever might happen. i am sick about it and soooo appreciate your thoughts and prayers.
